21.12.2023 The Ukrainian association “Spohad” organised the celebration “Good evening to good people”. It was a thank-you to the town of Paide, and above all to the people of Paide who have helped and supported refugees since the beginning of the war.
Dances, songs, carols, games, master classes in making varenyky and traditional dishes (kutia, varenyky, holubtsi, vinehret, uzvar, korovai, pancakes, pies). All this to introduce Estonia to our Ukrainian traditions, atmosphere and customs and to celebrate Christmas together!

23.12.2023, with the support of the town of Paide, a New Year event was held for Ukrainian children and their mothers. Fun games, songs, dances, a round dance, Santa and two charming Mrs Clauses (organisers from the Ukrainian community Spohad) made the event magical, emotional and friendly. The children had fun, received sweet presents, and there was also a festive lunch and dessert.
