Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia

ASSOCIATION OF UKRAINIAN
ORGANISATIONS IN ESTONIA

The Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia is an umbrella organisation of Ukrainian civil society organisations established in 2000. The Association represents the interests of Ukrainians living in Estonia, supports Ukrainian organisations, schools, and cultural projects, helps preserve the Ukrainian language, culture, and national identity, promotes the development of the Ukrainian community, and strengthens cooperation between Estonia and Ukraine.

SUPPORT UKRAINE

Dear friends! Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia, its many volunteers and all caring people have been constantly helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people to withstand this brutal war. Everyone who would like to contribute to our fundraising is welcome to donate to our account.
Peace and safety to your families! Glory to Ukraine!

OUR PARTNERS

Since 2000, the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia has been preserving Ukrainian culture and folk traditions in Estonia, helping Ukrainians adapt to Estonian society, protecting the interests and rights of Ukrainians as a national minority in Estonia and of Estonians in Ukraine, and promoting cooperation between the peoples of Ukraine and Estonia.

We work on projects that develop the Ukrainian community in Estonia, creating opportunities for children and adults to play music and dance, sing and draw, learn the Ukrainian language and preserve their culture, and take part in civic work and current events.

For more than 20 years, the Association has run the Nadiia weekend school, and on its initiative optional Ukrainian language classes were created at state upper secondary schools in Tallinn and Sillamäe. Member organisations hold thematic concerts, literary and chamber evenings, vocal competitions, cultural and educational city events, exhibitions, conferences and other events for children and adults.

Join our classes and events – we welcome children and adults alike!

The Ukrainian Film Club, the “Get to Know Estonia” excursions and the ethno-festival “Vyshyvanka Unites” are new projects launched by the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia in 2023.
