MTÜ KOLO(Tartu), led by Alona Kuts, has been active since February 2023. In almost 12 months of 2023 it held:

  • 11 reading sessions at the Tartu Oskar Luts City Library + 1 (very special!) reading session with a dog
  • 7 meetings at the Ukrainian club of Tähtvere Avatud Naistekeskus
  • 5 film screenings at Tartu Elektriteater
  • 5 special visits to the Estonian National Museum
  • a joint screening of “Mavka” at Apollo Kino
  • 1 library of Ukrainian books in Tartu, collected thanks to the project Books from Home, the Sens bookshop and House of Europe

In addition, the Estonian National Museum made a charitable donation to our project, and with these funds we organised a big Christmas celebration for 25 children and their parents.
We also received the special award “Academic Achievement of the Year 2023 in Tartumaa”.
