Today we honour our Flag

Not just a piece of cloth in two colours – but a symbol that lives with us.

It is raised over liberated cities. It is held by those who go into battle. It is pressed to the heart when seeing heroes off into eternity, and it covers the coffins of our fallen soldiers.

Blue and yellow are not only about the sky and wheat. They are about resilience and faith. About the blood and tears that today give us the right to dream of tomorrow.

May our Flag always be where Ukraine is – on our land, in our hearts and in a free sky.

Happy Day of the National Flag of Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to our heroes!
