A bloody night once again brought pain, loss and destruction to Ukrainian families

On the night of 2 June, Russia carried out one of its largest combined attacks on Ukraine, launching 656 attack and decoy drones and more than 70 missiles of various types. In total, more than 700 aerial targets were directed at our country.

As a result of yet another act of terror, at least 14 people were killed and more than 100 injured. Kyiv, Dnipro and Kharkiv suffered the greatest destruction. Residential buildings, hospitals, civilian infrastructure, businesses and other peaceful facilities were damaged. In many cities and communities, rescuers are still clearing the rubble and searching for people.

It is especially painful to realise that among the dead are two children and a rescuer who was on his way to a call to help others.

In the capital, the consequences of the attack were recorded in many districts: people were killed and dozens of residents injured, including children. Hospitals, residential buildings, outbuildings and petrol stations were destroyed!

On behalf of the Association, we express our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed. We share your pain and grief. We wish a swift recovery to all the injured and strength to those who are saving lives today, helping people and dealing with the aftermath of yet another war crime.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine and Ukrainians not only in words but also in deeds. We will continue to do everything possible to support those in need. We have no right to grow tired of helping, because the enemy does not stop its bloody aggression. Together we must remain strong, united and caring.

Eternal memory to those who died. Everlasting honour to every innocent life lost. Ukraine stands firm, Ukraine will prevail!
