Year of Cultural Diversity

Dear friends!

We invite you this Saturday, 18 January, to the event closing the Year of Cultural Diversity – last year's theme year dedicated to all residents of Estonia and its cultural wealth.

On this occasion the Integration Foundation of Estonia Integratsiooni Sihtasutus and Kultuuririkkuse aasta are holding a celebration at Viru Keskus from 12:00 to 21:00 in cooperation with communities of different nationalities from all over Estonia.

During 2024 the Association took part many times in various events dedicated to the Year of Cultural Diversity / Kultuuririkkuse aasta and itself initiated events that became a platform for showcasing Estonia's cultural diversity. In particular, the ethno-festival "Vyshyvanka Unites" truly brought together representatives of many national minorities living in Estonia and gathered about 2,500 participants at the Eesti Vabaõhumuuseum / Estonian Open Air Museum!

At the event on 18 January our artists and performers will be happy to see all the guests and will delight you with their musical performances!

You can see the full cultural programme via this link.

At the event you can also buy beautiful and unique handmade items – beaded necklaces, gerdany and bracelets from Ukrainian craftswoman Oleksandra Phonovska!

Come and support our Ukrainian performers and craftspeople at the closing event of the Year of Cultural Diversity!

The organisers invite you to come in national costume or add themed accessories to your outfit that highlight Ukraine's cultural wealth and heritage.

We look forward to seeing you.
