Ukrainian radio in Estonia on the brink of survival: we need your support

On Hromadske Radio hromadske.ua, Volodymyr Palamar – board member of DRUZI radio and chairman of the board of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia – appealed to Ukrainians in Ukraine and abroad to support the first independent Ukrainian-language radio station in Estonia.

"Unfortunately, today we find ourselves on the brink of survival… We held on until the very end, but now we need your support. Druzi is not a commercial project but a radio station created with heart. We work on a voluntary basis, without sponsors or donors. All the resources we managed to raise went into making sure the Ukrainian word and song were heard on air. Unlike commercial media, money for us is not a goal but a means. Right now we are fighting to keep the voice of Ukrainians heard in Estonia, so if this resonates with you – support us! Together we can save the Druzi wavelength!" he said.
