The Resurrection of Christ – a time of faith, hope and unity

Christ is Risen!

Dear friends, we wish you a heartfelt happy Easter – the bright feast of the Resurrection of Christ!

Easter is a special time when our hearts are filled with hope, faith and warmth.

It is a time of renewal – not only of nature but also of our thoughts, feelings and aspirations. It is a feast of love that conquers death, of light that overcomes darkness, of faith that leads us through the hardest trials.

In these days we feel especially keenly how important it is to be together. To be part of a community that supports, inspires, preserves our traditions and cares for one another – even far from home. For 25 years the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia has been creating a space where Ukraine is alive: in song, in word, in children's laughter, in the vyshyvanka, in shared prayer and good deeds.

Especially today we remember our heroes who are meeting this bright day on the front line, defending our homeland. We Ukrainians, including those far from our native land, pray for them and support them every step of the way – we believe in their resilience and in our victory.

May harmony and comfort reign in your home, and may Easter bring renewal of the soul, strength for new achievements, faith in victory and peaceful skies over our Ukraine.

We wish you joy every day, health to your families and warmth to your hearts. May the blessing of Easter fill every home with light and love.
