Anna Kurylenko’s “Wonder Forest” for Ukrainian children

What a wonderful feeling it is to receive a gift!

In these difficult times, when every morning begins with anxiously waiting for news from Ukraine, a notice of a parcel sent to me from Germany was a pleasant comfort.

It was a kind of greeting from a friend of Estonia, Anna Kurylenko from Cherkasy – actress, singer, head of the creative workshop “RapsoDiia”, author of the poetry collection “The Aroma of Confession” and the theatrical colouring book “Wonder Forest”. The author gave us her collection “The Aroma of Confession” as a sign of friendship with the Ukrainian community of Estonia back in 2018, when Anna Kurylenko was a guest of honour at the international festival “Northern Star” and also presented her work at the “Vodograi” community in Sillamäe.

Over time our friendship with Anna has remained unchanged. Just before the dramatic date of 24 February we were discussing with Anna the realisation of her creative programme dedicated to Taras Shevchenko… Anna does not lose touch with us in these difficult times either: the mother of five-year-old Sofiia, who has worked directly with children for several years and now runs the creative workshop “RapsoDiia”, sent us the theatrical colouring book “Wonder Forest” for preschool and primary school children, as well as for parents, educators and teachers.

May the exciting journey through the Wonder Forest bring new impressions, and may our life be filled at least a little with peace and harmony!

In return, we wish Anna Kurylenko – a true artist in the broadest sense of the word – boundless inspiration and creative flight for many years, success to her pupils, happiness to her wonderful family and, most importantly, peace and prosperity to our dear Ukraine.
