Solo concert “The Living Water of Songs Rings” in one week

Friends, a reminder that in exactly one week, on 17 May, there is a special event you simply must attend!

The ensemble “Dzherelo” invites everyone to its first solo concert, “The Living Water of Songs Rings”

This evening will be a celebration of Ukrainian song, sincere emotions and live sound, as the concert marks the ensemble’s 3rd anniversary.

On stage: the vocal ensemble “Dzherelo” (leader Taras Muzychko), Ukrainian song and dance group "Volya" (chief choreographer Anastasiia Kozachok, vocal group leader Vitalina Musiienko), Ansambel Dibrova – the academic folk instrument ensemble “Dibrova” (leader and arranger Olena Duminika), the vocal group “RODOVID” (leader Zinaida Vinchura)

It will be more than a concert – a meeting that unites hearts through music, traditions and shared values.

Admission is free, but during the event there will be a charity collection for the needs of the reconnaissance platoon of the 2nd battalion of the 105th brigade. The platoon commander is Senior Lieutenant Yurii Muzychko, brother of the ensemble’s leader Taras Muzychko. Every contribution is real support and help.

About the ensemble “Dzherelo”

The ensemble’s story began in 2022 in Tallinn, when its members met in the choir “Ukraina” and were united by their love of Ukrainian folk song. After the choir ended its activities, some of the singers decided not to stop – and on 1 October 2023 the ensemble “Dzherelo” was founded, initiated and led by Taras Muzychko.

Today the group includes talented performers:

• Taras Muzychko (bass)
• Inna Filipova (soprano)
• Larysa Kovalenko (soprano)
• Viktoriia Pakholko (alto)
• Olha Dalga (alto)
• Kateryna Chalova (tenor)

The ensemble’s repertoire includes about 20 songs: Ukrainian folk songs and contemporary arrangements. “Dzherelo” takes an active part in Estonia’s cultural life, performing at festivals, themed events and concerts, preserving and promoting Ukrainian song.

A special feature of the ensemble is live performance – both a cappella and with instruments (bayan, drum, rattles) played by the members themselves.

“Let Ukrainian song sound for people’s joy, happiness and goodness” – this is the message behind “Dzherelo”.
