Volya ensemble meets the Kyiv folk ensemble Kralytsia

On 27 October the Ukrainian Song and Dance Ensemble Volya was visited by the folk ensemble Kralytsia of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUKiM), led by Ivan Sinelnikov. The ensemble has produced many well-known artists, including Go_A soloist Kateryna Pavlenko, Tymofii Muzychuk of Kalush Orchestra and members of DakhaBrakha.

The guests told Volya members about Ukrainian Christmas rituals, sang carols together with them and shared how carolling is done in different parts of Ukraine.

The meeting took place at the new centre of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia at Maneeži 3 (4th floor). Volya thanks the members of Kralytsia for the inspiring experience.
