The Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia has signed a lease with the City of Tallinn for premises at Maneeži 3. From now on, the weekend school “CYM”, the “Volya” song and dance ensemble, the vocal studio and the organisation’s office will operate under one roof — a place to learn, create, meet friends and bring new ideas to life together.
“As head of the regional board of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia and director of the school, I warmly congratulate our team, our children, young people and parents. We now have our own home. I thank the City of Tallinn for the cooperation and the opportunity to set up this space for the Ukrainian community,” said Volodymyr Palamar, head of the regional board of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia.
The Association’s leadership extends special thanks to the people who work with children and young people every day:
The Ukrainian Youth Association has a history of more than a hundred years: it was founded in 1925 and today unites Ukrainians in various countries around the world. In Estonia, the Association has been active for almost a quarter of a century. The work continues so that children grow up with the Ukrainian language, know their culture, make friends and learn to act together.
