On 7 March, the weekend school of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia (CYM), a member organisation of the Association, hosted the second round of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Contest.
The following Saturday, in their Ukrainian language class, pupils and teachers went through the contest tasks, analysing mistakes and the correct answers. The children who took part received certificates of participation.
That day's lessons were also dedicated to Ukraine's Volunteer Day and the country's present-day defenders, while in Ukrainian studies pupils discussed Taras Shevchenko, his poetry and artistic legacy.
