CYM Estonia joins the launch of a Ukrainian-language audio guide at Vabamu

Representatives of the Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia (CYM), a member organisation of the Association — weekend school teachers Anastasiia Kozachok and Iryna Dzera — attended the launch of a Ukrainian-language audio guide at the Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom in Tallinn. The audio guide was presented in person by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.

CYM stressed that the Ukrainian language in museums around the world is not only a convenience for visitors, but also a sign of Ukraine's presence in the international cultural space and of respect for its history, language and identity. Vabamu, which tells the story of Estonia's struggle for freedom, the memory of occupations and resistance to totalitarianism, holds special meaning for Ukrainians.

The association thanked the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia and the Embassy of Ukraine in Estonia for the invitation, as well as everyone who worked on the audio guide. CYM is already planning a museum visit with its weekend school pupils.
