The Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia (CYM), a member organisation of the Association, dedicated a week of lessons at its weekend school to Ukraine's Day of Unity.
In Ukrainian language classes, the children wrote short essays on the theme "My united Ukraine" using the words "unity", "state" and "people", analysed how these words are formed, built sentences with them and practised handwriting.
In literature, the pupils read poems for the Day of Unity and continued reading their primer. In history and Ukrainian studies, they learned more about the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic, signed on 22 January 1919.
