Prosvita added to the list of tax-privileged associations

The Estonian Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Society Prosvita (UKRAINA Kultuuriharidusühing PROSVITA) has announced that it has been officially included in the state list of non-profit associations and foundations benefiting from income tax incentives. The decision of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (Maksu- ja Tolliamet) takes effect on 1 December 2026.

For donors, this means that donations supporting Prosvita’s work will now qualify for income tax relief within the limits set by Estonian law, making it easier to support Ukrainian cultural and educational initiatives.

For the society, the status opens up new opportunities for larger cultural and educational projects, for preserving Ukrainian heritage and for supporting the Ukrainian community in Estonia. Prosvita sees the decision as a sign of the Estonian state’s trust in the transparency of its work and thanks everyone who has supported it.

The Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia congratulates Prosvita on this important step.
