PROSVITA opens 2026 with a macramé angel doll workshop

The Ukrainian cultural and educational society PROSVITA, a member organisation of the Association, began 2026 with a creative gathering. On 10 January a macramé workshop, "Angel Doll from Cotton Thread", took place at Tallinn's Liivalaia library (Liivalaia 40).

The workshop was led by craftswoman Alla Saviuk. Participants learned the basic macramé knots and each made their own angel doll, a guardian-angel figure that can serve as an amulet, a decoration or a gift for loved ones. No experience was needed and all materials were provided.

The meeting took place in a calm and cosy atmosphere, which the organisers described as a good start to the new year. PROSVITA thanks the craftswoman for leading the session, the Liivalaia library for its hospitality and the Mrija art studio for its support and photos.
