Merry Christmas!

Dear Ukrainians of Estonia!

The Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia sincerely wishes you a joyful Christmas – a celebration of warmth, faith, unity and hope.

We present the Christmas greeting from the chairman of the Association, Volodymyr Palamar, with words that are especially important for each of us:

For many years, the Ukrainian community in Estonia has been an example of strength, solidarity and mutual support.

Over this time we have created a space where a new generation of Ukrainian children is growing up, where weekend schools, clubs, ensembles and cultural and educational projects are run.

We have preserved our language, culture and traditions – and we are passing them on.

Hundreds of events, tens of thousands of participants, volunteer initiatives, cultural festivals, support for newly arrived Ukrainian families – all this was made possible thanks to you.

Thanks to people who have not forgotten who they are and who have not let the Ukrainian voice in Estonia fade away.

"Today our community is a force. A force that supports Ukraine every day."

A special moment of the greeting comes at the end of the video.

The children of the Ukrainian weekend school Nadija Kool wish you all a Merry Christmas with the song "A Prayer for Ukraine"!

In their voices is our hope. In their prayer is our shared faith. In their carol is the unbreakable spirit of Ukraine!

May these pure children's voices become our shared Christmas prayer for peace, for Ukraine, for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for all who are waiting for light and for the return home.

We wish you and your families:

  • a just peace – which we are all waiting for,
  • warmth and comfort in your homes,
  • health, strength and faith in victory,
  • God's blessing every day.

Merry Christmas!

Christ is born – let us glorify Him!

Glory to Ukraine
