Singing together “Oi u luzi chervona kalyna”

Today we sang together!

On the afternoon of 22 May, thousands of singers from all over Estonia gathered at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds to perform the anthem of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen “Oi u luzi chervona kalyna” under conductor Hirvo Surva.

The four-part arrangement by composer Jonas Tarm will now be heard all over the world! Interestingly, the choir included outstanding musicians and conductors, as well as many singers from the United Kingdom who successfully mastered Ukrainian and Estonian pronunciation!

The recording will be shown on ETV on the evening of 23 May at 20:00.
