On the Day of Unity, the Association team took part in a ceremony held at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia!
The event began with the national anthem of Ukraine, sung together with the guests by Mariia Hrabchuk, creating an atmosphere of uplift and patriotism.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia, Maksym Kononenko, addressed the guests, noting that a country's territorial integrity is impossible without a shared foundation of values, spiritual unity and a clear vision of a common future.
"In the face of ruthless Russian aggression, whose real aim is the destruction of Ukraine and Ukrainians, the concept of unity takes on an existential meaning. We can win this war, survive as a nation and preserve our state only by joining forces. Only together, as one, in cooperation can we endure and win. So I urge you to be guided in your actions and thoughts by the words of the great Kyivan Prince Yaroslav the Wise: 'If you live in love among yourselves, God will be with you!' Let us draw strength from unity, as Yaroslav the Wise and our ancestors did when they united in the hardest times for the common good!"
The Ambassador also presented certificates to members of the Ukrainian community whose work has helped bring the community together and who have carried out projects in various fields – from culture and education to volunteering and psychological support.
Members of the Association and its team received well-deserved recognition: Alla Inno-Yakymenko, deputy head of the Nadija Kool Sunday school; Inna Hordiienko, the Association's PR director; Natalie Shevchenko, mental health specialist and educator; Inna Kryachkova, decorator and craftswoman; and civic activist Andriy Yatsenko.
We congratulate them on this recognition and thank the Ambassador of Ukraine to Estonia for his high appreciation of our team's work!
