Volodymyr Palamar Represented Estonia’s Ukrainian Community at the Third International Meeting of World Ukrainians
On 21 August 2026, the Third International Meeting of World Ukrainians, “United Across the World — Strong for Ukraine,” took place in Kyiv. The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian communities from 21 countries, government institutions, the diplomatic corps, civil society and charitable organisations, and the business sector.

Volodymyr Palamar, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Ukrainian Organizations in Estonia and Adviser to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Estonia, participated in the panel discussion “Global Projects of Ukrainians Abroad That Unite and Contribute to Ukraine’s Recovery.”

During his speech, he presented the experience of Estonia’s Ukrainian community in providing humanitarian and volunteer assistance to Ukraine, promoting cultural diplomacy and education, preserving Ukrainian identity, developing youth and media initiatives, and cooperating with Estonian state institutions and civil society organisations.

The participants discussed the role of Ukrainian organisations abroad in supporting Ukraine, protecting the rights of Ukrainian citizens, developing international partnerships, and engaging Ukrainian communities worldwide in the country’s future recovery.

The meeting was organised by the NGO “World Ukrainians” with the support of its general partner, Business Woman Club. The programme included three panel discussions, international networking, presentations of cultural initiatives, and the signing of cooperation memoranda.

Participation in the meeting provided another opportunity to present the work of Estonia’s Ukrainian community at the international level, exchange experience with Ukrainians from different countries, and develop new partnerships in support of Ukraine and its recovery.
