On 12 June 2026 the board and active members of the Vodograi Ukrainian community of Sillamäe, a member organisation of the Association, met representatives of the Sillamäe Museum, led by director Jelena Antuševa, at the community's cultural centre.
The museum is a long-standing partner of the community: in 1999 its halls hosted the first exhibition of Ukrainian applied art in Sillamäe. Cooperation has since included annual carol singing, joint projects and workshops. Community head Larysa Zhytnyk showed the guests the centre's exhibitions, the community's publications and members' handicrafts, and spoke about the completion of the Mykola-Fest project and the reissue of the educational game "Patsiorky".
The two sides discussed the stages of the project "Where Paths Meet" ("Kus teed kohtuvad"): marking Sillamäe on an interactive map, preparing a research conference with the museum's participation, and compiling a table from archival cards of Ukrainians held in the Sillamäe camp in 1944–1954, as well as the possibility of erecting a memorial to the victims of those events.
They also agreed on further cooperation, including summer day camps for children and young people, new exhibitions and workshops. The meeting ended with tea and an exchange of gifts, including family amulets handmade by community members.
