Yesterday the first working meeting of the year took place between the member organisations of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia and the team of volunteers who help us do good and important things every day.
It was not a formal meeting or a "report for the sake of a report". It was an open conversation about what the past year was like for each of us – with its challenges, successes, fatigue and what truly gave us the strength to keep going.
We talked about our experience of cooperation, about moments when support and unity were felt and where they were lacking, and about what we can and must do better. We shared expectations, ideas and our vision of the future – without embellishment, but with faith in our common cause.
For us, the Association is first and foremost people. Different organisations, different experience, different resources, but a common goal – to be useful to the Ukrainian community in Estonia and to Ukraine, to speak with one voice and to support each other in difficult times.
So we reviewed the key results of 2025 and drew up plans for 2026!
What is and will remain at the centre of our focus:
All participants' ideas will be summarised and will form the basis for setting realistic priorities and the Association's communication plan for 2026.
Thank you to everyone who was there for your openness, sincerity and willingness to invest not only your time but also your heart.
Ahead lies a new year, new challenges and a lot of joint work. And we know for sure: together we can do more.
Stronger together!
