Paide Ukrainians join World Cleanup Day for the second year

“With gratitude to the town and the country we live in”: this is how the Ukrainian community in Paide described its second year of taking part in World Cleanup Day. The initiative brings together tens of millions of people every year around protecting nature and helps raise awareness of how big the waste problem is.

On 21 September 2024, members of the Ukrainian community “Spogad” cleaned up the area around the lake in Paide. Paide Ukrainians first joined the campaign in September 2023.
