A concert for women, the “Peaceful Sky” flash mob and the second “Spogad” meeting

At a festive concert held by the Ukrainian community “Spogad” in Paide, the “Rytm” choreographic group performed the dance “For Mother” to the song “Chornobryvtsi”. The piece was dedicated to every mother, and it moved especially those women whose mothers have stayed in Ukraine. The performers also joined the “Peaceful Sky” flash mob in support of Ukraine.

On 16 March 2024, the community held its second meeting, which brought in new people. At the meeting, members:

• heard the financial report on the Women’s Day celebration;
• decided to collect monthly contributions for the organisation’s funds and appointed a treasurer;
• assigned people to lead upcoming events: the Chornobyl remembrance day, a May clean-up of Paide, an Easter egg-painting workshop, a joint outing to the lake and a fair for Children’s Day;
• discussed setting up a women’s club.
