How “Spogad” celebrated its 20th anniversary: a jubilee concert in Paide and words of thanks

On 30 November 2024, with the support of Paide Town Government, the Ukrainian community “Spogad” marked its 20th anniversary with a charity concert at the Paide Music and Theatre House. The programme featured Honoured Artist of Ukraine Andrii Zalisko, choreography by the “Rytm” group, songs and other performances. The guests were greeted by the Ukrainian Youth Association in Estonia and the Ukrainian song and dance ensemble “Volya”. All the money raised at the concert went towards buying a vehicle for Ukraine’s defenders.

To thank Estonians and the people of Paide for their kindness and support, the performers learned an Estonian folk dance and premiered it at the anniversary concert.

The community thanks the “Volya” ensemble, the hosts Anna Loovili and Natali Minaieva, the volunteers who baked pies and pastries, and Kohvik Borš. It also offers special thanks to the town of Paide for its support.
