Kalyna from Valga goes on a trip to Sigulda

On 20 September, the Kalyna Ukrainian Society and Saturday School in Valga, a member organisation of the Association, went on a group trip to Sigulda in Latvia. Adults and children travelled together.

The group visited Sigulda New Castle and the ruins of the Livonian Order castle, Turaida Castle and the legendary Gūtmanis Cave, and rode the cable car across the Gauja river valley.

The organisers describe it as a day full of discoveries, natural beauty and friendship. Kalyna thanks everyone who joined the trip and Vladimir Bryunin for the photos.
