Kalyna presents Ukrainian folk dress at the Valga NGO festival

On 13 February 2026 the Kalyna Ukrainian society and Saturday school from Valga, a member organisation of the Association, took part in the Valga parish NGO festival (Valga valla MTÜ'de pidu).

On the stage of the Valga Culture Centre, society members presented the richness of Ukrainian traditions and the variety of national dress from different regions of Ukraine. The performance brought together Ukrainians of several generations, from the youngest to the oldest members of the community.

According to the organisers, such events inspire and unite Valga's Ukrainian community and give local residents a chance to get to know Ukrainian culture better. Kalyna thanks the culture centre for its hospitality and the audience for their warm applause.
