Screening of the film Yellow-blue Butterflies | Valga

Dear Ukrainians!

The Ukrainian Society and Kalyna Saturday School in Valga invite everyone to a screening of the film "Yellow-blue Butterflies", dedicated to the children of Ukraine.

The screening marks the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

At this critical moment in our country's history, while the war continues and culture has become an important tool of resistance and of preserving national identity, "Yellow-blue Butterflies" aims to honour and support the youngest victims of this war and give them a voice through culture and art.

The screening is organised with the support of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia and as part of the Ukrainian Film Club in Estonia / Ukraina kinoklubi Eestis.

With this initiative we want to draw the world's attention to the tragedy of Ukrainian children who have been forcibly deported and abducted by the Russian authorities during the war.

Programme:

• A screening of the short film "Yellow-blue Butterflies" – a multimedia project about the power of art as a tool for the psychological support of children affected by war;
• A discussion of the film and tea.
• A chance to support our defenders – donations are welcome!
