Dear friends!
In just two weeks we look forward to seeing you at the screening of Yurii Dunai's film "Tired", a story about war veterans!
The film won the Grand Prix of the 54th Molodist International Film Festival in November 2025.
In Tallinn the film will be presented in person by its producer Pylyp Illienko – a well-known Ukrainian filmmaker who will talk about the making of the film and answer your questions.
"Tired" was filmed in Kyiv in spring 2025. Ukrainian veterans and serving soldiers took part in the filming. The film tells the story of war veterans Liuba and Andrii, who carry both physical wounds and the invisible scars of post-traumatic stress disorder. They meet during rehabilitation while struggling with their traumas. Their strong bond gives hope, but the incomprehension of those around them and their inner fears threaten to destroy it. The leading roles are played by Valeriia Khodos, Dmytro Sova and Irma Vitovska.
We have dedicated this screening to the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the third anniversary of the Ukrainian Film Club in Estonia / Ukraina kinoklubi Eestis , which was founded by the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Estonia.
To mark the film club's first "small" anniversary, we invite all our fans who have attended the Ukrainian Film Club screenings over the past three years to a festive lottery with valuable gifts from our partners!
On the same day you will also enjoy performances by Ukrainian song and dance group "Volya" and the band "Dzherelo"!
We will be glad to see you all; tickets can be bought on site or in advance via the link: https://fienta.com/uk/vasinud
