Friends!
The Ukrainian Film Club in Estonia (Ukraina kinoklubi Eestis) invites you to the screenings of the "Standing with Ukraine" programme at the 29th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival PÖFF | Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival
This year the "Standing with Ukraine" programme is run jointly by the Tallinn film festival and the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema. The co-organisers of the initiative are the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia and FRESH PRODUCTION GROUP
The aim of the initiative is Estonia's support for the Ukrainian film industry in wartime, the promotion of Ukraine's European integration and better interaction and cooperation between European and Ukrainian filmmakers.
As part of "Standing with Ukraine", on 20 NOVEMBER there will be a special event, "Yellow-blue Butterflies", dedicated to Children's Protection Day, which Ukraine will now mark every year on World Children's Day. The initiative aims to draw the world's attention to the tragedy of Ukrainian children – both those living through the war in Ukraine and those forcibly taken or abducted by the Russian authorities.
The 29th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival runs this year from 7 to 23 November! Once again the festival will present films by Ukrainian directors and by world masters of cinema that focus on Ukraine!

Since 2014 it has been one of the world's 15 A-category film festivals, alongside Venice, Cannes and Berlin, accredited by the prestigious International Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAPF). It is also Oscar-qualifying, attracting filmmakers and audiences from all over the world.
PÖFF presents a diverse selection of international and local films, including feature films, documentaries and short films, while also highlighting innovative and art-house cinema. This year's festival will once again feature the "Standing with Ukraine" programme.
