In December 2022, Association chairman Volodymyr Palamar visited the organisation Slava Ukraini MTÜ at the T1 Mall in Tallinn.
Since the start of the full-scale war, the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia and Slava Ukraini have worked closely together on the logistics and transport of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
One focus of Slava Ukraini and the Aitan Kaitsta initiative is weaving camouflage nets for Ukrainian defenders. Volunteers from all over Estonia are not only making nets but also building new ties between Ukrainians and Estonians. Anyone can join – the schedule is published on the Aitan Kaitsta page.
