Another terrible night in Kyiv…

Another terrible night in Kyiv…

As a result of a combined attack lasting almost 8 hours, 16 people were killed in the capital, including a 6-year-old boy and his mother, and almost 159 were injured, among them children.

The enemy launched more than 300 drones and 8 missiles at Ukraine that night.

According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, today the world once again saw Russia's response to our, America's and Europe's desire for peace. New demonstrative killings. That is why a world without strength is impossible.

The jet-powered Shaheds that Russia used to strike Kyiv overnight are practically impossible to shoot down. These drones can exceed 500 km/h.

Kyiv was also attacked with Iskander-K missiles launched from Kursk region. This is close to Kyiv and there is almost no time to react, especially as these missiles fly very low. Only 3 of the 8 missiles were shot down.

In total, direct hits by 5 missiles (one of them on a residential building in Kyiv) and 21 attack drones were recorded at 12 locations that night, and falling debris at 19 locations, almost all in the capital!

"When the explosion happened, some people were right in their beds, others in corridors. They were buried. They fell, and concrete slabs fell on them," said Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

All emergency services are still working at the impact sites, and for that our deep gratitude to every rescuer, medic, firefighter and police officer!

Thank you to the air defence forces, volunteers and utility services who are saving our people's lives!
