"A man with a Ukrainian-Estonian heart"

We want to share the story of the trip to Ukraine by Association volunteer Allan Teetlaus to film his documentary "Reflection". The film explores the essence of Ukrainian and Estonian mentality in the context of war, as national cultural values and norms of behaviour change in both Ukraine and Estonia.

Well-known cultural figures and civic activists from both Ukraine and Estonia take part in the "Reflection" project. Through scientific approaches and a dialogue between the two cultures, Allan and his team will try to compare Estonian and Ukrainian national mentality and the impact of war on social attitudes.

Allan sees the main goal of the film as improving the understanding and visibility of Ukraine among foreign audiences and promoting Ukrainian narratives in Europe!
