This year's festival space is not just decor. It is a story you can feel.
It is based on two colours – red and black. As in Dmytro Pavlychko's poem "Two Colours", which will be at the heart of this year's venue – in Ukrainian and Estonian.
Red is love, life, energy, a pulse.
Black is depth, memory, experience and roots.
Together they create a code. A code of identity.
We reinterpret tradition through the present – which is why the festival space is built like a living embroidery.
Threads run through all the zones, joining them into a single canvas. They symbolise the connection between people, cultures and generations – Ukraine and Estonia, the past and the present.
Three key photo zones hold a special place in this fabric – like knots of memory that hold the composition together:
Burlap, wood, branches and natural textures are our roots.
Paper is memory and the word.
Birds are a symbol of freedom, movement and the home we always return to.
All together it is a "Fabric of Unity", where each element is part of something bigger.
We are creating a space where:
s – soul: you feel the soul of tradition
m – mood: a warm, lively atmosphere takes shape
a – art: a new aesthetic is born
r – reason: every element has meaning and depth
t – trend: tradition sounds contemporary
It is about the fact that culture is not in the past.
It is here. It is between us. It is alive.
And it unites.
