On 13 April, the Liivalaia library hosted the third Ukrainian Craft Days! We are delighted that the event brought together so many guests, lovers of handmade work and supporters of Ukrainian craftspeople – and, of course, lots of smiles and festive mood!
On Palm Sunday and on the eve of Easter, our fair became a real treasure trove for those looking for special gifts. There was plenty of unique handmade work created with love: gingerbread, décor, toys, jewellery, candles and much more.
A special highlight was the children’s programme – with a performance by the ensemble “Volya”, the Ukrainian cartoon “Klara and the Magic Dragon”, creative workshops and a wonderful atmosphere for the little ones.
The event ended with a prize draw of gifts from our craftspeople, where every prize was a unique handmade piece.
We thank Ukraina Käsitööliste Liit Eestis / the Union of Ukrainian Craftspeople in Estonia for the partnership, the library – for the warm space where it is always a pleasure to create, and special thanks to Ms Victoria Punga, who personally helped with all the on-site organisation: equipment, space, support – everything was at the highest level! We also thank all participants for creating this little celebration together with us!
