The children's area at smART fest 2026

After the festival "Vyshyvanka Unites – Rahvustikand ühendab" smART fest 2026, we want to tell you more about each area, because they created the special festive atmosphere felt by thousands of guests.

We start with the children's area – a space for creativity, discovery, play and genuine emotions.

The smART fest 2026 children's area – a world of creativity, discovery and happy smiles

While the adults enjoyed concerts, talks and exhibitions, our youngest guests had their own world of adventures and exciting discoveries!

Throughout the day, the children eagerly took part in creative workshops, sports activities, science experiments, board games and reading sessions.

The most popular activities were:

• painting with coloured salt
• decorating gingerbread
• making traditional folk jewellery
• embroidery on paper
• folding an origami vyshyvanka

The science experiments were a real hit:

• "Magic Milk"
• "Flowers in Water"
• "Exploding Strawberry"

Folk games and table tennis tournaments were just as lively, bringing together children of different ages and creating lots of positive emotions.

We are glad that the children's area became a place not only to have fun but also to learn something new, make friends and feel the atmosphere of a real celebration.

Thank you to all the organisers, volunteers, parents and children for this wonderful day!
