The Association's PR director Inna Hordiienko and volunteer Hanna Kiriienko appeared on Estonia's public TV channel to invite residents and visitors of Estonia to the "Vyshyvanka Unites – Rahvustikand ühendab" festival!
They talked about what the vyshyvanka means to Ukrainians, which traditions and rituals have survived in Ukraine to this day and, of course, what programme awaits festival guests!
In particular, Hanna Kiriienko spoke about the highlight of this year's festival – the theatre performance "Matchmaking in Honcharivka" based on the play by Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko, which she is directing.
During the performance, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the genuine atmosphere of old Ukraine, learn about the matchmaking traditions and rituals still preserved in some regions of Ukraine, and enter a world of humour and sincere emotions so close to every Ukrainian.
We will tell you more about the performance tomorrow in a separate post, so don't miss it.
In the meantime, watch the full programme.
