Friends! Today is an important holiday – Vyshyvanka Day!

On this day we put on not just a shirt – we put on the memory of our grandmothers' hands, which embroidered a prayer into every cross-stitch. We put on the voice of our ancestors and the strength of those who hold the sky above us today.

The vyshyvanka is our shield. It is the thread that stitches generations together, a code in which love for our native land, the pain of separation and faith in victory are sewn. A symbol that unites us even when we are scattered all over the world.

Happy holiday, Ukrainians! May every stitch hold hope and every day hold light.

How to take part?

All festival visitors can buy a lottery ticket at the stand of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia (1 ticket – 3 euros; 2 tickets – 5 euros).
