SUM children’s and youth seminar

SUM children’s and youth seminar

Dear friends!

From 10 to 16 October, a training course of the Ukrainian Youth Association (SUM) will take place in Tallinn (Radisson Meriton Conference, Toompuiestee 27 / Paldiski mnt 4, 10149 Tallinn). SUM has been a member of the Association of Ukrainian Organisations in Estonia since its foundation. At the training we will share the Association’s experience and explain how the organisation’s management and activities are structured.

To teach you leadership skills, members of the SUM World Board from Ukraine, Europe and America will come to Tallinn. They are people with long experience who, over the week, will run training sessions using various methods, select leaders among the seminar participants and form working groups around them.

Today, during the war waged against Ukraine by the Russian state, the work of SUM is more important and needed than ever. We have decided to help revitalise SUM’s work abroad and invite young people who want to serve Ukraine faithfully to join the ranks of the youth organisation.

To do so, simply fill in the registration form

SUM is a worldwide Ukrainian youth organisation active in 12 countries. It was founded underground in Kyiv in 1925, and since 1946 it has worked continuously in emigration – during this time SUM branches have been established in 20 countries on 5 continents.

SUM’s motto is “God and Ukraine”, and its main goal is to bring up young people on Christian principles in a patriotic spirit. A key area of SUM’s work is running international winter and summer camps, where young people do sports, singing, dancing, decorative arts and other cultural and educational activities.
