The Estonian Integration Foundation with informational support from the Association of Ukrainian Organizations in Estonia and Druzi.ee radio, invites recipients of international protection from Ukraine to free Estonian language courses. These courses are part of the state adaptation program Settle in Estonia. See more information here: integratsioon.ee
Why join the courses:
The purpose of the courses is to make settling in Estonia as smooth as possible. Additionally, participating in these courses is linked to obtaining a residence permit in Estonia.
When and how will the courses take place:
Starting from December 1, 2024, Estonian language courses will be available for individuals under international protection. Courses can be taken either online or in person in major cities, with flexible options for morning, afternoon, or evening sessions. Classes will start in December 2024 and continue in January and February 2025. All courses will be taught by teachers from language schools selected by the Integration Foundation through a state procurement process.
Availability and duration:
Currently, approximately 1,000 spots are open for A1-level courses. Registration is also available for A2 and B1 level groups.
* A1 level: ~4 months
* A2 level: ~6 months
* B1 level: ~8 months
To successfully complete a course and receive a certificate, participants must regularly attend classes and pass a final test.
How to register:
You can register for courses on the adaptation program portal.
Log in using Mobile ID, Smart ID, or your ID card. Once logged in, you can view your personal data and available courses. Select the desired course and register.
Temporary protection holders attention:
For those under temporary protection, the Integration Foundation will offer language courses starting in 2025. Stay informed by checking the website www.integratsioon.ee and following the Settle in Estonia Facebook account.
